Happy New Year to all, and I hope you all had an awesome (but responsible night out)!
This is most likely be one of the last development related posts I am going to put up for quite a while.
If you are not across the developments, I am presently taking a break (originally it was a forced break), and am now gearing up for starting with the Royal Australian Air Force in 3 weeks.
There are a few projects I wish I had of finished properly by now, but at the moment they are still in the prototyping folder on my laptop, and probably will be there for a few more months while I sort out training and finances. Namely JoomWHM is still sitting there accumulating dust while I slowly prototype out extra functionality and get the plugins model working properly.
I am however putting together a sub section in the McHugh Technologies website specifically focused on myself and namely fitness related material. At some point this material may get it's own home, but the aim really is to document fitness regimes suited for a busy office worker (such as what I had been doing). And hopefully this information could help others out in their pursuit of fitness (or better health).
Developers Zone - Amazon Web Services
Whilist working through the jwTube Project (soon to be released to the Subscribers) I came across an interesting issue while using JWPlayer and Authenticated URLs via the Amazon S3 system.
It seems a signed URL with a + in the signature data was causing JWPlayer to stop loading the remote FLV from the S3 Service. I proved the cause of the + symbol by reloading and watching for keys without +'s and observing their behaviours.
Sure enough, signatures without the + were working, and those with them were bombing out.
And to make things worse, it seemed no matter what I did with escaping URLs and string replacing them the issue would not give up.
So I can up with this very easy solution which works 100% of the time, and could possibly rectify a lot of issues with other Flash FLV players too!

For a while now I have been maintaining several websites at the same time in relation to my development works. So starting today, I have effectively begun consolidating the websites into one (McHugh Technologies). From here all works of jWarlock.com and AdamMcHugh.com have become one.

For a while now I have been working on building new and improved Joomla components utilising the Joomla Component Framework. However with the development being done under the name jWarlock (my Joomla alter ego) I felt a great deal of this knowledge should be integrated into my professional portfolio.
So what does this integration actually mean?
